Australian Fire Opal Ring

This dramatic fire opal is an Australian fire opal triplet from the Cooper Peady Mine in the Lightning Ridge area of South Australia. Opals of this quality have become much harder to come by for the past several years. The stone measures 8 x 10 mm, and is set in a 14K gold setting I cast from one of my waxes.
